Adakum Educational Foundation Inc, (Admef.org) is a New York based 501 (C )(3) non- profit organization dedicated to providing educational and health care opportuniuties for the poor and disadvantaged children and their parents in Ghana . The organization was founded in 2006 and obtained its tax exempt status in January of 2007.
The Foundation is currently managed by a President (Japhet Aryiku, Founder), an Executive Director (Ellen Aryiku), a 5 person voting Board and a 2 person Advisory Board. The foundation is also duly registered in Ghana as an NGO and has a local management team, in Accra, serving the Southern Region, and at Obuasi, serving the Ashanti and the Northern Regions. The Adakum Foundation is proud to provide direct support for the following institutions in Ghana as of July 2007:
